The Texas Instruments CD74HC147NSR is a high-speed CMOS priority encoder. This 74HC series device provides a 10-line to 4-line priority encoding function. Input lines are actively low, and the encoder prioritizes the highest order data line that is LOW. The output is a 4-bit binary code representing the highest priority active input. It features a single 10:4 circuit and operates from a 2V to 6V supply. The output current is rated at ±5.2mA for both high and low states.
