Texas Instruments CD74HC138EG4 is a high-speed CMOS 1-of-8 decoder/demultiplexer. This device features three binary select inputs (A, B, C) and eight mutually exclusive outputs. Enabling inputs (G1, G2A, G2B) control the device operation. When G1 is HIGH and G2A and G2B are LOW, one of the eight outputs is selected based on the binary input. The CD74HC138EG4 operates from a 2V to 6V single supply and offers a 5.2mA output current for both HIGH and LOW states.
