Texas Instruments CD4556BM from the 4000B series is a dual independent 1-of-4 decoder/demultiplexer. Each channel features two binary control inputs and four mutually exclusive outputs. The device is capable of decoding a 2-bit binary address into one of four non-overlapping outputs. This CMOS device is designed for low power consumption and high noise immunity. The CD4556BM is suitable for applications in industrial control, telecommunications, and data acquisition systems. It operates over a wide supply voltage range of 3V to 18V and features a guaranteed output drive capability of 6.8mA at both high and low levels.
