Texas Instruments CD4555BE is a dual, 2-bit binary to 1-of-4 decoder/demultiplexer from the 4000B series. Each circuit features two independent 1-of-4 decoders, each with two binary select inputs (A0, A1), an enable input (E), and four mutually exclusive outputs (Y0-Y3). The CD4555BE is designed for operation over the full military temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. This device is suitable for a wide range of applications including data distribution, address decoding, and control logic in industrial automation, telecommunications, and consumer electronics. The device operates with a supply voltage range of 3V to 18V and offers a typical output current capability of 6.8mA for both high and low states. It is supplied in a 16-pin Dual In-line Package (PDIP) for through-hole mounting.
