Texas Instruments CD4028BMT is a BCD-to-Decimal Decoder IC from the 4000B series. This monolithic CMOS device decodes four BCD (Binary Coded Decimal) inputs into ten mutually exclusive outputs, representing decimal digits 0 through 9. It features a single 1-of-10 decoder circuit. The CD4028BMT is designed for operation across a wide supply voltage range of 3V to 18V, with a typical quiescent current of 1µA. Each output can sink or source up to 6.8mA. Manufactured by Texas Instruments, this component is suitable for applications in industrial control, data processing, and test equipment. It is supplied in a 16-SOIC (0.154" width) surface-mount package on tape and reel, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
