Texas Instruments CD4028BM is a BCD-to-Decimal Decoder/Demultiplexer from the 4000B series. This monolithic CMOS device decodes four BCD inputs (A, B, C, D) into ten mutually exclusive outputs (0 through 9). It can also be used as a 4-line to 10-line demultiplexer by using the enable input as a data input. The CD4028BM features a wide supply voltage range of 3V to 18V, with typical output current capabilities of 6.8mA for both high and low states. Designed for surface mount applications, it is housed in a 16-SOIC package.
