Texas Instruments 74HC Series SN74HC163DBR is a synchronous, presettable, 4-bit binary counter. This monolithic device features a fully buffered outputs and a synchronous reset. The counter increments on the positive-going edge of the clock input when the enable input is high. A low level on the synchronous reset input clears the counter to zero, independent of the clock. The SN74HC163DBR is designed for high-speed CMOS logic applications and is suitable for use in telecommunications, industrial automation, and consumer electronics. It operates with a supply voltage range of 2 V to 6 V and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The component is supplied in a 16-SSOP package on tape and reel.
