Quality Control: Learn More

STMicroelectronics 74LCX374MTR is an octal D-type transparent latch with 3-state outputs, part of the 74LCX series. This device features eight independent D-type flip-flops, each with a clock input and a Q output. The latch is enabled when CLK is HIGH. Data is transferred from the D inputs to the Q outputs on the positive edge of the clock signal. The outputs are tri-state, allowing them to be disabled by the Output Enable (OE) signal. With a supply voltage range of 2V to 3.6V, it offers a clock frequency of up to 140 MHz and a low quiescent current of 10 µA. The 20-SOIC package (0.295", 7.50mm Width) is suitable for surface mounting. This component finds application in various industrial and consumer electronics, including data buffering and storage in digital systems. Output current capability is 24mA for both high and low states.

Integrated Circuit FAQs

An integrated circuit (IC) is a semiconductor chip that contains transistors, resistors, capacitors, and other electronic components on a single silicon substrate. ICs are the foundation of modern electronics and power devices such as smartphones, computers, automotive systems, and industrial equipment.

Integrated circuits work by routing electrical signals through microscopic semiconductor components fabricated onto a silicon chip. Depending on the design, ICs can process, amplify, store, or control electronic data.
