Rohm Semiconductor BU4S81-TR is a single-channel, 2-input AND gate IC from the 4S series. This low-power device operates over a wide voltage range of 3V to 16V, with typical quiescent current draw of only 1 µA. The input logic levels are defined for high inputs from 2.75V to 8.25V and low inputs from 1.5V to 4V. It offers a maximum propagation delay of 30ns at 15V with a 50pF load capacitance. The component is supplied in an SMP5 package (SC-74A, SOT-753) suitable for surface mounting and is delivered on tape and reel. This AND gate finds application in various industrial and consumer electronics, including control systems and signal processing.

Integrated Circuit FAQs

An integrated circuit (IC) is a semiconductor chip that contains transistors, resistors, capacitors, and other electronic components on a single silicon substrate. ICs are the foundation of modern electronics and power devices such as smartphones, computers, automotive systems, and industrial equipment.

Integrated circuits work by routing electrical signals through microscopic semiconductor components fabricated onto a silicon chip. Depending on the design, ICs can process, amplify, store, or control electronic data.
