Vishay Semiconductor Opto Division IL4108-X006 is a single-channel optocoupler featuring a Triac output. This device provides 5300Vrms isolation and is rated for 800V off-state voltage. The Triac output can handle up to 300mA RMS continuous current. It requires a maximum LED trigger current (Ift) of 2mA for activation and exhibits a static dV/dt rating of 10kV/µs, crucial for commutation and preventing false triggering in high-noise environments. With a typical forward voltage (Vf) of 1.16V and a hold current (Ih) of 500µA, it is designed for efficient operation. The optocoupler includes a zero-crossing circuit, beneficial for suppressing electromagnetic interference in AC power control applications. Suitable for industrial automation, power control, and solid-state relay applications, the IL4108-X006 is supplied in a 6-DIP package suitable for through-hole mounting and holds CSA and UR approvals.
