Vishay General Semiconductor - Diodes Division VS-40TPS12APBF is a standard recovery SCR with a blocking voltage of 1.2 kV. This through-hole component, housed in a TO-247AC package, offers a continuous on-state current (IT(AV)) of 35 A and an RMS on-state current (IT(RMS)) of 55 A. The non-repetitive surge current handling capability is 600 A at 50 Hz. Gate trigger characteristics include a maximum gate trigger current (IGT) of 150 mA and a maximum gate trigger voltage (VGT) of 2.5 V.
