Texas Instruments DAC7641Y-2K is a 16-bit, single-channel, voltage-output digital-to-analog converter. Featuring an R-2R architecture, this device offers a parallel data interface and a buffered voltage output. The DAC7641Y-2K achieves excellent linearity with typical integral nonlinearity (INL) and differential nonlinearity (DNL) of ±3 LSB and ±2 LSB, respectively. It requires an external voltage reference and operates over an analog supply range of ±5V and a digital supply of 5V. The settling time is specified at 10µs. This component is housed in a 32-TQFP (5x5) surface-mount package and is supplied on tape and reel. Applications for the DAC7641Y-2K include industrial automation, test and measurement equipment, and general-purpose signal generation. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
