Texas Instruments LM5000-3MTCX is a versatile switching regulator IC designed for step-up, step-up/step-down, boost, flyback, and forward converter topologies. This adjustable positive output regulator features a minimum input voltage of 3.1V and a maximum input voltage of 40V. The internal switch can handle up to 1.35A, and the output voltage is adjustable from a minimum of 3.1V up to 80V (at switch). Operating at selectable switching frequencies of 300kHz or 700kHz, the LM5000-3MTCX is available in a 16-TSSOP (0.173", 4.40mm Width) surface mount package, supplied on tape and reel.
