Texas Instruments bqTINY™-II series BQ24020DRCRG4 is a highly integrated, single-cell Lithium Ion/Polymer battery charger IC. Designed for compact applications, this device features a 10-VSON (3x3) package with an exposed pad for enhanced thermal performance. The BQ24020DRCRG4 supports USB interface and allows for programmable charge current up to 500mA, as well as programmable charge timer functions. It provides constant current and constant voltage charging for a battery pack voltage of 4.2V. Over-temperature protection is integrated for robust operation. This component is suitable for use in portable electronics, medical devices, and industrial equipment requiring efficient battery management. The supply voltage range extends up to 6.5V, with an operating junction temperature capability from -40°C to 125°C. The device is supplied on tape and reel.
