Texas Instruments ADS8380IRHPT is an 18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from the microPOWER™ series. This device offers a single pseudo-differential or single-ended input and a sampling rate of up to 600 kSPS. The ADS8380IRHPT features an SPI data interface for efficient digital communication. It supports both external and internal reference types and operates with analog supply voltages of 5V and digital supply voltages ranging from 2.7V to 5.25V. Packaged in a 28-VQFN (6x6) with an exposed pad and supplied on tape and reel, this component is ideal for applications in industrial automation, test and measurement, and medical instrumentation. The internal sample-and-hold circuit ensures a 1:1 ratio for S/H to ADC operation. Its surface mount configuration allows for streamlined PCB assembly.
