TDK-Micronas GmbH HAL® 54x series HAL542SF-K is a digital Hall effect latch sensor. This open-drain output device is designed for surface mounting in a SOT-89B-1 (TO-243AA, Variant) package, supplied on tape and reel. It operates with a supply voltage range of 4.3V to 24V, drawing a maximum of 4.2mA quiescent current. The HAL542SF-K features temperature compensation for stable operation across its -40°C to 140°C ambient temperature range. Its latching functionality is activated by a South pole magnetic field, with a typical trip point of 4.5mT and a release point of -4.5mT. The maximum output current is 20mA.
