The TDK-Micronas GmbH HAL® 5xy series HAL503SF-A is a temperature-compensated, digital Hall effect latching sensor. This open-drain output component is designed for surface mounting in a SOT-89B-1 package (TO-243AA, Variant). It operates with a supply voltage range of 3.8V to 24V and a maximum supply current of 4.2mA. The device exhibits a typical trip magnetic flux density of 10mT and a release flux density of -10mT, responding to the south pole. At 25°C, the output current is rated up to 20mA. Its robust operating temperature range of -40°C to 170°C (TJ) makes it suitable for applications in automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics sectors requiring reliable magnetic sensing.
