TDK-Micronas GmbH HAL® series digital Hall effect sensor, part number HAL300UA-A, is a latching magnetic switch with an open-drain output. This device utilizes Hall effect technology for precise magnetic field sensing, featuring temperature compensation for stable operation across its wide -40°C to 140°C operating temperature range. Designed for through-hole mounting in a TO-92UA-4 package, it supports supply voltages from 4.5V to 24V and can source a maximum output current of 30mA. The sensor is sensitive to the south pole of a magnet, with trip and release points at 2.2mT and -2.2mT respectively. This component is commonly found in automotive applications such as position sensing in door modules and seat adjustment systems, as well as in industrial automation for proximity detection.
