TDK InvenSense MPU-9255 is a System-in-Package (SiP) inertial measurement unit (IMU) featuring a 9-axis motion tracking device. This component integrates a 3-axis gyroscope, a 3-axis accelerometer, and a 3-axis magnetometer into a 4x4x0.9mm QFN package. The MPU-9255 provides a digital output via I2C for the accelerometer and gyroscope, and a secondary I2C interface for the magnetometer. Its low power consumption and high performance make it suitable for demanding applications in consumer electronics, including augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) systems, drones, and wearable devices.
