STMicroelectronics T1610T-8FP is a logic-sensitive gate TRIAC designed for AC power switching applications. This single TRIAC component offers an 800V off-state voltage and a 16A RMS on-state current capability. Featuring a low gate trigger current requirement of 10mA maximum and a 1.3V gate trigger voltage maximum, it facilitates control with low-power logic circuits. The T1610T-8FP boasts excellent surge handling with a non-repetitive surge current of 120A and 126A at 50Hz and 60Hz respectively. Its hold current is rated at a maximum of 15mA. Encased in a TO-220FPAB package with through-hole mounting, this TRIAC operates across a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C (TJ).
