STMicroelectronics ASD™ TRIAC, part number ACST4-8SB-TR, is a single-phase, sensitive gate TRIAC designed for AC power control applications. This device features an 800V blocking voltage and a 4A RMS on-state current capability. The sensitive gate design requires a low gate trigger current (Igt) of 10mA maximum and a gate trigger voltage (Vgt) of 1V maximum, making it suitable for direct interface with microcontrollers and logic circuits.
