STMicroelectronics ACS™/A.S.D® ACS108-8SA is a logic-level sensitive gate TRIAC designed for AC power control applications. This single TRIAC component offers an 800V off-state voltage rating and a maximum on-state current of 450mA RMS. The sensitive gate facilitates triggering with low voltage and current levels, featuring a maximum gate trigger current (Igt) of 10mA and a maximum gate trigger voltage (Vgt) of 1V. The device also exhibits a holding current (Ih) of 10mA. For transient protection, it boasts a non-repetitive surge current (Itsm) of 13A at 50Hz and 13.7A at 60Hz. The ACS108-8SA is packaged in a through-hole TO-92 (TO-226-3, TO-92-3) configuration, suitable for various industrial and consumer electronics, including lighting control and motor speed regulation. Operating temperature range is -30°C to 125°C.
