STMicroelectronics ACS™/A.S.D® ACS108-5SA-TR is a single, logic-sensitive gate TRIAC designed for AC power control applications. This component offers a 500V off-state voltage and an 800mA RMS on-state current capability. The TRIAC features a sensitive gate triggering requirement with a maximum gate trigger current (Igt) of 10mA and a maximum gate trigger voltage (Vgt) of 1V, enabling efficient control with low-power microcontrollers. It maintains a holding current (Ih) of 25mA. The device is rated for a non-repetitive surge current (Itsm) of 7.3A at 50Hz and 8A at 60Hz. Packaged in a TO-92-3 (TO-226-3) through-hole configuration on tape and reel, this TRIAC is suitable for use in appliance control, lighting, and general-purpose AC switching in the consumer electronics and industrial automation sectors. Operating temperature range is -30°C to 125°C (TJ).
