STMicroelectronics ACS™/A.S.D® ACS108-5SA is a sensitive gate TRIAC designed for AC power control applications. This single-configuration TRIAC offers a 500V off-state voltage and an 800mA RMS on-state current capability. Featuring a low gate trigger current (Igt) of 10mA maximum and a 1V gate trigger voltage (Vgt) maximum, it is suitable for direct interface with microcontrollers. The device exhibits a hold current (Ih) of 25mA maximum and a non-repetitive surge current of 7.3A/8A at 50Hz/60Hz. Packaged in a TO-92-3 (TO-226-3, TO-92-3 (TO-226AA)) through-hole package, it operates within a temperature range of -30°C to 125°C. Applications include home appliances, lighting control, and general AC switching.
