STMicroelectronics STPSC5H12B-TR1 is a 1200V, 5A Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky diode in a DPAK surface mount package. This ECOPACK® series component offers a low forward voltage drop of 1.5V at 5A and a minimal reverse leakage current of 30 µA at 1200V. Its fast switching characteristics are defined by no recovery time exceeding 500mA (Io), enabling high-efficiency operation. The diode features a junction operating temperature range of -40°C to 175°C and a capacitance of 450pF at 0V and 1MHz. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging (TR). This device finds application in power factor correction circuits, switch mode power supplies, and electric vehicle charging systems where high voltage and efficiency are critical.
