STMicroelectronics BUV48A is an NPN bipolar junction transistor (BJT) designed for high-voltage applications. This through-hole component features a maximum collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 450V and a continuous collector current capability of 15A. Dissipating up to 125W, it offers a minimum DC current gain (hFE) of 8 at 8A and 5V. The transistor's saturation voltage (Vce Sat) is a maximum of 5V at 2.4A base current and 12A collector current.
