The STMicroelectronics VND5E050MJ-E is a dual-channel, high-side power switch IC from the VIPower™ series. This device features N-channel MOSFET outputs, capable of delivering up to 19A. Designed for general-purpose switching applications, it offers a low Rds(on) of 50mOhm typical. The VND5E050MJ-E integrates advanced fault protection mechanisms including fixed current limiting, over-temperature, and over-voltage protection, coupled with an auto-restart feature for enhanced reliability. Its ON/OFF interface allows for straightforward control. This component is suitable for high-side load driving in automotive and industrial automation systems, operating across a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. The device is supplied in a PowerSSO-12™ surface-mount package.
