STMicroelectronics VN920D-B5 is a VIPower™ series N-channel power switch/driver designed for high-side load management. This component offers a 1:1 input-to-output ratio and a maximum output current of 30A, with a low ON-resistance of 18mOhm typical. It integrates robust fault protection features including fixed current limiting, open load detection, over-temperature protection, and over-voltage protection, complemented by an auto-restart capability. The device operates within a load voltage range of 5.5V to 36V and has an operating junction temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. Designed for general-purpose switching, the VN920D-B5 is suitable for applications in automotive and industrial sectors requiring reliable power distribution and load driving. It is supplied in a P2PAK (4 leads + tab) surface-mount package.
