STMicroelectronics LF50CPT is a positive, fixed output linear voltage regulator with a 5V output and a maximum output current of 500mA. This device features an enable pin for enhanced control and offers protection against over current and over temperature conditions. The quiescent current is 1mA with a maximum supply current of 12mA. The input voltage can be up to 16V, and the dropout voltage is a maximum of 0.7V at 500mA. The PSRR is rated from 76dB to 60dB across a frequency range of 120Hz to 10kHz. The LF50CPT is supplied in a PPAK (TO-252-5, DPAK) surface-mount package, suitable for applications in automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
