The STMicroelectronics L6388E is a high-voltage, high-speed, two-channel gate driver designed for driving N-channel MOSFETs or IGBTs in a half-bridge configuration. This non-inverting driver features independent high-side and low-side outputs, capable of sourcing 400mA and sinking 650mA peak current, respectively. The L6388E supports a high-side bootstrap voltage up to 600V, enabling efficient operation of the high-side power switches. It operates with a supply voltage up to 17V and is specified for an operating junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. Typical rise and fall times are 70ns and 40ns. The 8-DIP (0.300") through-hole package is suitable for applications in industrial motor control, power factor correction (PFC), and general-purpose power conversion.
