The STMicroelectronics VN5770AKP-E is a high-side driver from the OMNIFET II™, VIPower™ series. This half-bridge driver is designed for applications requiring robust control of DC motors, general-purpose loads, and relays. It offers an output current capability of 8.5A per channel and features comprehensive fault protection including current limiting, ESD, over-temperature, over-voltage, short-circuit, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO). The device operates with a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 36V and supports a load voltage up to 41V. With a typical Rds(on) of 160mOhm, it is suitable for inductive, capacitive, and resistive loads. The VN5770AKP-E is housed in a 28-SOIC package for surface mounting and operates across an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 150°C (TJ).
