Skyworks Solutions Inc. SI8230AD-B-IS is a 2-channel digital isolator designed for gate drive applications. This AEC-Q100 qualified component utilizes capacitive coupling technology to achieve 5000Vrms of isolation. It features robust common mode transient immunity of at least 20kV/µs. The device supports output currents of 250mA and 500mA with typical rise and fall times of 20ns. Propagation delay is specified at a maximum of 60ns for both tpLH and tpHL, with a maximum pulse width distortion of 5.6ns. The SI8230AD-B-IS operates from a 6.5V to 24V output supply and is suitable for automotive applications. It is supplied in a 16-SOIC (0.295" width) surface mount package and carries CQC, CSA, UR, and VDE approvals.
