Skyworks Solutions Inc. SI8230AB-B-IS1 is a dual-channel digital isolator with integrated gate driver functionality. Utilizing capacitive coupling technology, this component provides 2500Vrms isolation and exhibits a high Common Mode Transient Immunity (CMTI) of 20kV/µs. Designed for automotive applications and qualified to AEC-Q100 standards, it offers output drive capabilities of 250mA high and 500mA low, with a peak output current of 500mA. The 16-SOIC package (0.154", 3.90mm Width) is suitable for surface mounting. Typical rise and fall times are 20ns, with maximum propagation delays of 60ns (tpLH) and 60ns (tpHL). Pulse width distortion is limited to 5.6ns maximum. This device is approved by CQC, CSA, UR, and VDE. Its operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C, and it supports output supply voltages from 6.5V to 24V. This component finds application in various automotive power control systems.
