Renesas Electronics Corporation ISL8391IB-T is a Quad SPST-NC analog switch. This device features four independent single-pole, normally closed switches, each offering a maximum on-resistance of 35 Ohms. The ISL8391IB-T supports single supply operation from 2V to 12V or dual supply operation from ±2V to ±6V. With a channel-to-channel matching of 300mOhm (?Ron) and low charge injection of 5pC (Max), it is suitable for applications demanding precise signal routing. The component exhibits a fast switch time with a maximum of 130ns for turn-on and 75ns for turn-off. Leakage current is minimized to 100pA (Max) when off. The ISL8391IB-T is available in a 16-SOIC package, designed for surface mounting and supplied on tape and reel. Its performance characteristics make it applicable in various industrial and consumer electronics systems requiring robust signal switching.

Integrated Circuit FAQs

An integrated circuit (IC) is a semiconductor chip that contains transistors, resistors, capacitors, and other electronic components on a single silicon substrate. ICs are the foundation of modern electronics and power devices such as smartphones, computers, automotive systems, and industrial equipment.

Integrated circuits work by routing electrical signals through microscopic semiconductor components fabricated onto a silicon chip. Depending on the design, ICs can process, amplify, store, or control electronic data.
