Powerex Inc. C440N is a standard recovery SCR with an 800V repetitive peak off-state voltage (VDRM). This chassis mount Press-Pak (Pow-R-Disc) device offers a high on-state current rating of 1400A (RMS) and 900A (average). Its non-repetitive surge current capability reaches 12000A at 50Hz and 13000A at 60Hz. The maximum on-state voltage drop (VTM) is 1.65V, with a gate trigger current (IGT) requirement of 150mA and a gate trigger voltage (VGT) of 5V. The off-state leakage current (IDRM) is rated at 35mA. This component is suitable for applications in industrial motor control, power supplies, and welding equipment. Operating temperature range is from -40°C to 125°C.
