Powerex Inc. C430P is a standard recovery SCR designed for high-power applications. This Press-Pak (Pow-R-Disc) component offers a repetitive peak off-state voltage of 1 kV and a continuous on-state current of 1070 A RMS. Its surge current capability reaches 7300 A at 50 Hz and 8000 A at 60 Hz. The gate trigger current (Igt) is a maximum of 125 mA with a gate trigger voltage (Vgt) of 5 V. The on-state forward voltage drop (Vtm) is 2.4 V at its maximum. Featuring a clamp-on mounting type, the C430P is suitable for use in industrial power control, welding equipment, and high-current switching applications. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C. The package is TO-200AB (A-PUK).
