Powerex Inc. C391M is a standard recovery SCR designed for high-power applications. This Press-Pak (Pow-R-Disc) component features a repetitive peak off-state voltage of 600V and a continuous on-state current (IT(AV)) of 490A, with an RMS on-state current (IT(RMS)) of 770A. The device exhibits a non-repetitive surge current (ITSM) of 7000A at 60Hz and 8000A at 50Hz. It requires a maximum gate trigger current (IGT) of 150mA and a gate trigger voltage (VGT) of 5V. The on-state voltage drop (VTM) is a maximum of 2.65V. With a maximum off-state current of 45mA, the C391M is suitable for chassis mounting in industrial power control systems, motor drives, and power supplies operating within a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The B-PUK (TO-200AC) package facilitates efficient heat dissipation.
