Powerex Inc. C380MX555 is a standard recovery SCR with a 600V forward blocking voltage. This component is rated for 450A RMS on-state current and 300A average on-state current. The non-repetitive surge current capability is 2900A at 50Hz and 3200A at 60Hz. The device features a low gate trigger current of 150mA and a gate trigger voltage of 3V maximum. The on-state voltage drop (VTM) is a maximum of 2.85V. Designed for clamp-on mounting within a TO-200AB (A-PUK) Press-Pak (Pow-R-Disc) package, it operates reliably between -40°C and 125°C. This SCR is suitable for applications in power control and industrial power supplies.
