Powerex Inc. POW-R-BLOK™ LDR21850 is a Series Connection SCR/Diode module designed for high-power applications. This chassis mount module features a repetitive peak off-state voltage of 1.8 kV and an average on-state current of 500 A, with a maximum RMS on-state current of 785 A. The non-repetitive surge current is rated at 18000 A for 50 Hz and 20000 A for 60 Hz. Gate trigger characteristics include a maximum gate trigger current (Igt) of 250 mA and a maximum gate trigger voltage (Vgt) of 2.5 V. The holding current (Ih) is a maximum of 300 mA. Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to 130°C (TJ), this module is suited for industrial power control, motor drives, and power supplies. The LDR21850 is packaged in a tray.
