Powerex Inc. LD421850 is a high-power SCR/Diode module designed for demanding applications. This POW-R-BLOK™ module features a series connection of one SCR and one diode, suitable for chassis mounting. It offers a substantial 1.8 kV voltage rating for off-state conditions and a continuous on-state current capability of 540 A (average) and 900 A (RMS). Surge current handling reaches 16300 A at 50 Hz and 17000 A at 60 Hz. The gate trigger specifications include a maximum voltage of 3 V and a maximum current of 200 mA.
