Powerex Inc. CD431290B is a dual SCR module designed for high-power applications. This POW-R-BLOK™ module features two SCRs connected in series, capable of handling an off-state voltage of 1.2 kV and an average on-state current of 95 A (150 A RMS). The module offers robust surge handling with a non-repetitive surge current rating of 2000 A at 50 Hz and 2100 A at 60 Hz. Gate trigger characteristics include a maximum gate trigger voltage (Vgt) of 3 V and a maximum gate trigger current (Igt) of 150 mA. The hold current (Ih) is rated at a maximum of 250 mA. Operating within a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C (TJ), this chassis-mount component is suitable for demanding industrial environments. Its configuration is ideal for power control and switching in motor drives, welding equipment, and power supplies.
