Power Integrations TOPSwitch®-GX series TOP247F is an offline flyback converter IC designed for high-volume, cost-sensitive applications. This device integrates a high-voltage power MOSFET, a PWM controller, and fault protection features into a single TO-262-7C package, enabling simplified design and reduced component count. The TOP247F operates with a switching frequency between 66kHz and 132kHz, offering a maximum output power of 165W. Internal features include frequency and duty cycle control, with a maximum duty cycle of 66.5%. Robust fault protection mechanisms are incorporated, providing current limiting, over-temperature, and over-voltage protection. The isolated flyback topology is suitable for various power supply designs, including adapters, consumer electronics, and industrial control systems. Mounting is via through-hole.
