Power Integrations TOPSwitch®-GX series TOP243Y is an offline flyback switcher IC designed for high-volume consumer and industrial applications. This TO-220-7C package device integrates a high-voltage MOSFET, PWM controller, and fault protection features including current limiting, over-temperature, and over-voltage protection. It supports a switching frequency range of 66kHz to 132kHz and can deliver up to 45W of power. The internal switch simplifies design and reduces component count. Output isolation is provided by the flyback topology. Applications span consumer electronics, industrial power supplies, and LED drivers. The device operates across a junction temperature range of -40°C to 150°C.
