Power Integrations TOPSwitch®-GX series TOP243G is an 8-SMD (7 leads) offline switcher IC designed for flyback topologies. This component features an internal switch with a breakdown voltage of 700V and a maximum duty cycle of 66.5%. The switching frequency is adjustable between 66kHz and 132kHz, controlled by frequency control circuitry. Fault protection is integrated, offering current limiting, over temperature, and over voltage protection. The TOP243G is suitable for surface mount applications and operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. It provides isolated output and is rated for up to 25W of power.
