Power Integrations TOPSwitch®-II TOP223PN is an 8-pin PDIP offline switcher IC designed for high-frequency power conversion. This component integrates a MOSFET and control circuitry, enabling efficient operation in boost, buck, flyback, and forward topologies. With an internal switch and a switching frequency of 100kHz, it supports up to 25W power output with isolated conversion. Integrated fault protection includes current limiting and over-temperature shutdown. The device operates across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 150°C (TJ) and features a 700V breakdown voltage. It is suitable for applications in consumer electronics, industrial controls, and power supplies.
