Power Integrations TOPSwitch®-II TOP222PN is an 8-PDIP packaged offline switcher IC supporting Boost, Buck, Flyback, and Forward topologies. This device integrates a power MOSFET with a PWM controller and protection features, including current limiting and over-temperature protection, enabling efficient power conversion up to 15W. The internal switch operates at a nominal switching frequency of 100kHz with a 67% duty cycle. Designed for isolated output configurations, it features a 700V breakdown voltage. The TOP222PN is suitable for applications in consumer electronics, industrial control, and lighting power supplies.
