Panduit Corp NetKey® NK688MAW is a modular jack insert designed for terminating Ethernet cabling. This component features an 8 position, 8 contact (8p8c) RJ45 modular jack on one end, providing a standard interface for network connections. The opposite end utilizes Insulation Displacement Connector (IDC) terminals for efficient punchdown termination to unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cable. Manufactured with a white Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) housing for the modular jack and a white Polycarbonate (PC) housing for the IDC termination, this insert is built for durability and ease of identification. Rated for Category 6 performance, it supports data transmission speeds suitable for demanding networking applications.
