The onsemi MOC3021TM is a Triac output optoisolator designed for reliable solid-state switching applications. This single-channel device provides 4170Vrms isolation and features a Triac driver output, capable of handling a 400V off-state voltage. The input side requires a typical forward voltage of 1.15V and a maximum forward current of 60mA, with a trigger current (Ift) of 15mA maximum. The output side exhibits a holding current (Ih) of 100µA typical. Supplied in a 6-DIP through-hole package, the MOC3021TM is suitable for industrial control, power supply, and appliance applications. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and is UL approved.
