The onsemi FOD3180T is a 2.5A gate driver optocoupler designed for high-speed switching applications. Featuring 5000Vrms isolation, this component utilizes optical coupling technology to ensure robust noise immunity, with a minimum common-mode transient immunity of 15kV/µs. It provides a single channel with a 2A output current capability in both high and low states. The device supports a wide output supply voltage range of 10V to 20V and operates with a typical forward voltage of 1.43V at a maximum forward current of 25mA. Propagation delays are specified at a maximum of 200ns for both tpLH and tpHL, with pulse width distortion not exceeding 65ns. Typical rise and fall times are 75ns and 55ns, respectively.
