The onsemi XS™ DrMOS FDMF6706C is a highly integrated half-bridge driver designed for high-frequency synchronous buck converters. This 40A device features optimized performance with low Rds(on) for both low-side and high-side MOSFETs, enabling efficient power delivery. The 40-PQFN (6x6) package offers a compact footprint for surface mounting applications. Integrated fault protection, including over-temperature, shoot-through, and UVLO, enhances system reliability. The driver supports PWM interface and incorporates a bootstrap circuit for efficient high-side switching. Its robust design is suitable for demanding applications in computing, communications, and industrial power management. Operating within a load voltage range of 3V to 15V and a supply voltage of 4.5V to 5.5V, the FDMF6706C is supplied on tape and reel (TR).

Integrated Circuit FAQs

An integrated circuit (IC) is a semiconductor chip that contains transistors, resistors, capacitors, and other electronic components on a single silicon substrate. ICs are the foundation of modern electronics and power devices such as smartphones, computers, automotive systems, and industrial equipment.

Integrated circuits work by routing electrical signals through microscopic semiconductor components fabricated onto a silicon chip. Depending on the design, ICs can process, amplify, store, or control electronic data.
